| | By far, the Canadian Olympian is more creative, more tfhughtoul and would no doubt have been much harder to conceptualize and achieve. How often have you heard or read about how hard it is to define the "Canadian Identity"? This design is a clever and sophisticated nod to all things Canadian: open white expanses; our most-loved winter sports; our aboriginal and immigrant foundations; and the Olympian tenacity that makes us able to scrape windshields in minus 30. I also wonder if the abundant trophies are a little self-mocking jibe at our so-Canadian modesty? I mean really, anyone can do French Provincial.... |
